Ease of access to the Port of Constanta for the Hungarian industry is even better now, Romanian and Hungarian economies are growing stronger as both countries are getting increasingly attractive to investors, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Sorin Grindeanu wrote on Facebook on Monday after a new meeting in Bucharest with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.
“We discussed cooperation between Romania and Hungary as Schengen members. The Port of Constanta is now more accessible for Hungarian industry, our economies are getting stronger, and Romania and Hungary are increasingly attractive for investors. We agreed to improve transport links between the two states, but also to build new ones: the Satu Mare – Oar (Romania) and M49 (Hungary) expressways, the Arad – Oradea (Romania) expressway and the M44 motorway (Hungary), the Beba Veche (Romania) – Kubekhaza (Hungary) border crossing point, a new bridge across the Mures River that will connect the localities of Cenad (Romania) and Magyarcsanad (Hungary),” Grindeanu wrote.
