The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday’s trading session with all indices in the green and RON 60.678 million (EUR 12.192 million) worth of trades.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.60 percent to 17,028.46 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.59 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.56 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK advanced 0.69 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies increased 0.40 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG picked up 0.52 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market closed 1.11 percent higher.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Fondul Proprietatea with almost RON 14.878 million worth of trades, followed by Banca Transilvania with RON 11.451 million worth of trading, and Sphera Franchise Group with RON 8.125 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Romcab (+14.73 percent), Mecanica Ceahlau (+14.43 percent), and Sinteza (+14.15 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Ropharma (-2.37 percent), Longshield Investment Group (-2.34 percent), and One United Properties (-2.02 percent).
