The Constitutional Court of Romania postponed the debate on the request of Cristian Terhes, candidate for the presidential elections, to cancel the results of the first round of voting on Friday, December 2, at 5:00 p.m.
According to a press release from CCR sent to AGERPRES, on Friday, the plenary session of the Constitutional Court, considering that the Central Electoral Bureau will submit the results of the rechecking and recounting of the ballots, including validly cast and invalid votes in the elections for the post of President of Romania from on November 24, 2024, decided to postpone until Monday, 5:00 p.m., the request for annulment of the elections formulated by Cristian Vasile Terhes.
onfirmation/validation of the election results was also postponed for Monday, CCR reported.
On November 29, the electoral campaign for the second round of voting should have started, which should have taken place on December 8.
