Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Thursday’s session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday’s session lower on all indices, with trading of 278.52 million RON (55.97 million euros), of which 272.9 million RON (54.84 million euros) represented transactions with shares.

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 44.39 million RON, followed by the shares of Emergent Investments, with 15.94 million RON, and of OMV Petrom – 12.32 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, decreased by 0.61%, to the value of 17,583.13 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, lost 0.59% of their value.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was down 0.49%, while the SIF index BET-FI was down 0.49%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, depreciated by 0.33%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.58%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell by 0.60%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Promateris (+7.86%), Ropharma (+4.85%) and Sinteza (+4.72%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Mecanica Ceahlau (-10.53%), Condmag (-10%) and Bermas (-4.67%).
