Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday’s session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday’s session higher on all indices, with trading of 45.73 million RON (9.19 million euros), of which 37.89 million RON (7.62 million euros) represented the transactions with shares.

The most liquid shares were those of Transilvania Bank, with transactions of 8.36 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom, with 6.25 million RON, and Romgaz – 5.83 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.85%, up to 17,629.06 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 of shares, closed up by 0.82%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose 0.78%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, gained 0.05%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, registered an advance of 0.97%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up 1.01%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.78%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.39%), Artego (+5.10%) and One United Properties (+5.09%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Aeta (-8.14%), Turism Felix (-3.33%) and Vrancart (-3.08%).
